Understanding the Captain Dashboard

Modified on Tue, Dec 23 at 11:19 AM

The Team League software utilizes roles such as Captains, Co-Captains and Managers. If you are assigned one of these roles, you have a special dashboard to manager your team.

Captain, Co-Captain and Manager Permissions:

  • Add and invite players to the team

  • Create a team invite code

  • See team roster information

  • Assign co-captains

  • Assign a player strength

  • Submit online lineups for matches

  • Enter match scores

  • See and manage the captain dashboard

The difference between a captain/co-captain and a manager: the permissions are the same but a manager is NOT also a player on the team.

To access your Captain Dashboard, login to your Pickleball.com account and navigate to your Team League. From the main league page, access your Captain Dashboard by clicking the black button labeled "My Dashboard" and then the "Team Dashboard" option that follows:

Captain Dashboard Components

The team league software allows for someone to manage, captain or co-captain more than one team in a season, so you will see all of your teams you manage in the dashboard, or you can choose a specific division from the drop down filters.

You will also see different tabs and buttons explained below.

  • Season filter: sort by season (current season is the default)

  • Division filter: (all divisions is the default)

  • Active teams tab: rostered players with DUPR, balance and role information

  • Player activity tab: invited players and their status and payment updates

  • Schedule tab: your team's published schedule for the season

  • +Add or move player button: add, drop, move, replace and trade players

  • Send text: select rostered players to send a text message to (cannot be replied to)

  • Invite with Code: used to create a team specific code for inviting players to join

Creating and accessing invite code capabilities:

Next to the team name, click on the "pencil" icon.

Turn the Inactive/Active toggle to the "on" position to make the code "Active".

Type in your own code (must be 6 unique characters) or use the "click to generate" button for the system to create a unique code for you.

NOTE: the invite code is case sensitive and your players must type it in the exact same way when registering for your team using the Invite Code process.
