Pickleballtournaments.com recently released a new Tournament Owner Dashboard with a lot of breakdowns for tournament financial information. This article will provide you with more in depth information on what each line means.
The first tab option you will notice in the dashboard is the option to Purchase Insurance:

Pickleball.com has partnered with LIO insurance to provide affordable insurance coverage for tournaments. Many City Court locations and Clubs require that a tournament provide their own insurance coverage in case a player injures themselves. You can view policy options, details, prices, and even purchase the insurance package right from this tab.

View Receipt is going to show during your tournaments history from start until after the tournament completes. All payments made and balances that will be due will be located inside this tab. Once the tournament locks, this receipt view will change to a balance due option if any fees are outstanding.

The Dashboard is going to give you an up-to-date breakdown of the registered players in your tournament. The last option "User Defined Selections" is referencing an option we offer to create a purchase button on your tournament listing that is available to those not playing in the tournament. This could be for Tournament Shirts, Donations, are any goods you wish to provide to non players attending the event.

Pickleball.com has partnered with some amazing vendors that provide your tournament with discounted options. Discounted rates on Balls, Paddles, Goodie Bags are just a few options available to the tournament owner. There is no cost to create a PT Perks account, so take the time to check out what PT Perks can help you with.

This section provides a breakdown of the income reported in your tournament. Below are what each line means:
Stripe - Payments - This is the total recorded amount from Stripe that has come in for your tournament from players
Stripe - Refunds - This is the total amount you have refunded through our system back to players in your tournament
Stripe - Reversals - This is the amount that Stripe has indicated they have reversed on a player payment. This could be from a player dispute or request from the player to Stripe.
Stripe - Fees - This is the total fees that Stripe is taking off player registrations. This is usually 3-4% of the total payment
Manual - Payments - If you have chosen to "record a payment" for a player because they have paid you by Check, Cash, or another method, this is recorded here
Manual - Refunds - If you have chosen to "record a refund" for a player that withdrew and provide them with Cash, check or another method, this is recorded here
Totals - The total of each listed line
Total Income - The total listed income recorded in the tournament
**Important** The above income does include the amount in services fees collected through Stripe that are paid to Pickleballtournaments.com.

Every tournament setup includes options to Discount player registrations or fees due. Below is a breakdown of each item.
Manual - If a tournament owner wants to discount fees for any reason after registration, they can use the "menu" next to the players registration in the attendees section to "record refund" manually.
Member - In the "Registration" setup, you have the ability to provide your listed Club members a Member Discount. This section will reflect those discounts.
Senior - In the "Registration" setup, you have the ability to provide anyone playing in events listed as Bracket Level "Senior Amateur" with a Senior Discount. These events must be listed as 50+ on the age format option to qualify.
Junior - In the Registration' setup, you have the ability to provide anyone playing in events listed as Bracket Level "Junior" with a discount. Players must ONLY play in events listed as Junior to receive this discount.
Collegiate - In the Registration' setup, you have the ability to provide anyone playing in events listed as Bracket Level "Collegiate" with a discount. Players can ONLY be signed up for Collegiate level events to receive this discount.
Total - The total of all listed discounts.

Description is added next to these breakdowns. For the Money owed to the tournament, this could be due to:
- An active Pay Onsite or Pay Later Option
- Players who paid for 1 event but later had a partner add them to second event
- Tournament Director manually added a player for the tournament and select "pay later"
Total Income - This is carrying down the total income from the payment and the discounts to give you an updated total.

The Platform Fees section is keeping track of the Required Service fees and the Options Player Text Fees for the tournament. Below is a breakdown of each line:
Setup Fee - The amount paid by the tournament owner to complete initial setup of the tournament
Service Fees - This is the total service fees of the players signed up for the tournament. Players are charged $5 per event up to a maximum of $10 per player. Service Fees are non refundable so if a player withdraws, that amount will NOT be removed from what is due. Players that register directly to the waitlist are not charged a service fee until they are moved into at least one main draw event.
Player Text Fees - This is the Per Player fee we charge to use player texting. If you are in the US/Canada/Mexico, this fee is.25 cents per player. We do offer texting in multiple countries at different rates. Please see the Edit Tourney section for your locations texting cost. This amount is NOT paid by the player and will need to be paid by the tournament owner after the tournament completes.
Subtotal - The total of the 3 fees to listed above
Paid - This indicates all fees paid to the software. This would include the setup fee and any service fees paid by the players using Stripe to pay for the tournament. If a player has NOT paid using Stripe and is unpaid, marked paid using Manual Record, the service fee amount is still due.
Balance - This is the breakdown of all fees still due for the software use. Player Texting Fees will always be included in this amount as they are not covered by player payment and any Manually Recorded, Discounted, or Unpaid service fees from players will show due here as well.
Income Paid - This is the Total Income from above you have collected and removing the amount you have paid to our software. The amount of Income Paid should be the total Income you have remaining. If there is a Balance due, that needs to be paid first before these numbers will be accurate.
