TD - How do I Sanction my Tournament & Choose my Tournament Rating?

Once you are logged in to your tournament, go to the 3-line menu and select the "Sanctioned / Approved & Ratings" section:

You will see a number of different Sanctioning options here.  Choose the option you wish to request sanctioning from and then Save.  You will see the option is not marked as Pending.  Once a Organization owner has approved the Sanctioning you will be notified by email.

IMPORTANT: We recommend that you DON'T open registration until after Sanctioning is approved.  If a fee structure is adjusted after you begin registration that will only take effect for future registrations.

The next step offered in the Sanctioned/Approved and Ratings tab is selecting your rating used for your tournament.  All tournaments that are NOT Sanctioned should start with the first choice being Self Rating (from players profile).  We offer DUPR and Self Rating as the choice options here.  If you choose DUPR as your first ratings option, be sure the second choice is self rating so that if a player doesn't have an official DUPR rating then their listed self rating from their profile will be chosen.

As the tournament owner you get to choose if Matches that are labeled as Forfeits or Retirements are sent to DUPR for results.  If you wish to keep these match result options from sending to DUPR to be included in the player results, please turn these options to on
