We highly recommend that you set up your own organization or business Stripe account to process transactions smoothly and efficiently. If, due to restrictions associated with the type of organization you represent, you are unable to setup a Stripe Payments account as a checkout option for tournaments, PickleballTournaments.com offers an "Escrow" service where we will collect tournament registration fees on your behalf, and remit them to you less credit card processing fees, refunds, and our Escrow Services Fee at the Target Payment Date following the close of your tournament.
Finding the Escrow Service
When logged into your tournament, go to "Edit Tourney" and then select "Checkout Options" in the menu on the left hand side. Scroll down until you find the Pickleball Brackets Collection Service.

Be sure that all information is listed. Once completed, use the Click to Activate button to start utilizing the Pickleballtournament.com's Stripe account to collect fees for your tournament.
Overview of Escrow fees
This tournament registration payment collection method has an Escrow Service Fee for each registration that we process as well as any Stripe credit card processing fees. These fees are as follows:
- Escrow Services Fee: $2 per tournament registration
- Stripe Payments Credit Card Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction for domestic cards, with higher rates for international cards (add 1.5%) or manually entered cards (add 0.5%), plus extra for currency conversion (add 1%). These fees are pay as you go, with no monthly costs for the basic service, but vary by payment type such as wallets, BNPL, bank debits, and by region. Please check the Stripe website or contact them for the current and exact rates.
Settlement of Collected Funds to the Tournament
Escrow funds collected will be paid out using the Stampli electronic funds transfer payment portal. You will be contacted by our Escrow Administrator to set up an account in this portal and instructions are also below.
The Target Payment Date for escrow funds will be within two weeks from the first Monday after the last day of the tournament, provided that the Stampli payment portal setup is complete. If payment portal setup is not completed in a timely manner, escrow payment may take up to 4-6 weeks to issue funds. Please plan accordingly.
Once payment is initiated through Stampli, you will receive an email notification confirming the payment. Processing time from payment initiation to bank deposit is typically between three to five business days.
Stampli Payment Portal Setup
During the 4-6 weeks, you will be contacted by the Escrow Administrator who will send you an email invite from Stampli containing a link to your Vendor Portal. You will need to create a password and log in to your account. Then click Account located at the top of the screen and add the following:
1. Enter your ACH payment details, Tax ID number, and Billing Address in the Payment Details section. This will let us issue ACH payments directly into your bank account.
2. Add contact info for the Primary Contact including name, phone number, and email in the Vendor Details section.
3. For more information on how to setup and use Stampli you can visit the Welcome to the Stampli Vendor Portal.
Timely setup of your Stampli account will result in faster processing and payment of your escrow funds. You will also be able to see payment status, send messages directly to the Escrow Administrator, and confirm the date when the funds will be deposited into your checking account.
Please note that we will not be able to issue payment to you until you have properly setup your Stampli account. We can not enter this info on your behalf.
