How to set up an Advertise Only Tournament

Before we get started, it is important to know that players are not allowed to use our software to advertise their event and a competing software to run the tournament.  If found you have done this, your listing will be removed from our site without refund.  "WARNING:"......Ad only listings carry a fee of $500. If the fee is not paid within 72 hours, it will be removed.


Once you have set up a Club in our software, you will be able to set up a tournament.  Head to pickleball.com, and click on "Tournaments" option, then navigate to the "Create a Tournament" tab:


On the first page, select your Club and the country in which the Tournament will take place in:


What follows are the only selections that need to be made/adjusted for an Advertise Only listing:


Scroll down to the "Advertise Only" option and Toggle this on and select the first and last day of the tournament's events:


Select your local Time zone and Localization.  


Show to Public - date is the date that our listing will show up on our site.  If you set this as a future date, the tournament will not be visible to the public until that date/time.  


Title - is the name of the tournament.


Website - This will show on the tournament listing directly under the logo


Scroll down to the Registration section and enter the dates you will be accepting player registrations:


In the Contact Info section, be sure your account info is listed in Contact 1 and you place an email address in the Billing Email section:

Scroll all the way down to the bottom in the text box section.  Be sure in the Description boxes to list any registration/tournament information you want displayed to the players:



Event Registration is only used for the full use of the software.  You will need to manually add cost information to the listing in the text box option which we will cover below.



In this section, load your Tournament Logo:


If you have any Sponsors logo's you want added to your tournament, you can add these here.  These will be added to the bottom of your tournament listing:


The Payment Method tab is not available in the Advertise Only option, so you can again save and proceed to next.



The Venues tab will allow you to add any Venue information for the tournament.  This is automatically populated and pulled from what you have listed as the Venue in your Club.  If you don't want to use this venue, you can change the information here:



If you are partnering with any Hotel/Airline/Car Rental Company, you can add a Amenity listing that will provide that information to the players on your tournament listing:




The Managers Tab will have you listed as the Primary Manager.  If you have any other Managers, you want added to have access to the listing, you can use the "Add New" button to add them.  They MUST have an account set up in Pickleball.com to be granted access.



Last step is to complete the listing is to hit the "Complete Setup for this Tournament" option:


Your tournament listing is now active!  This listing will only stay listed for 72 hours, however, unless the $500 fee amount is paid.  To make payment, use the 3-line hamburger menu, and then select "Tourney Dashboard:"


Use the red Invoice in the upper right hand corner to make payment.  Once completed, your listing is complete.
