How to use the Manage Event Court Counts & Start Times tab

Using your 3-line menu, select the Manage Event Court Counts & Start Times tab:

All events that you have for your tournament will be listed here and will indicate how many players are in the event (both full teams and single players for doubles event).  You will be able to change the venue location below the event name (if you have more than 1 venue).

If you are wanting to limit the number of courts for a bracket, you can use the "Needed Courts" section to select how many courts you want the planner to issue to that bracket.  All would use the maximum number of courts needed for the event.

Excluded Courts can be used to designate exactly what courts the event is scheduled on when using the daily planner or simulator.  If you want the software to schedule your planner for an event only on courts 1 & 2, then remove the checkmark from court 3 & 4.  Now the planner will generate that event only on those designated courts (Simulator view shown below) If you are wanting to use the daily planner as an actual guide for running the tournament this too is very helpful in organizing the events directly on courts.

If you know the exact starting times you want for your event you can set them here.  Once they have been added you can send each player an email with their event starting times by using the blue "Send Start Time Emails" tab at the top of the page.

IMPORTANT

If you are unsure of your starting times we highly recommend using either the Simulator (if events have not been verified) or the Daily Planner (after events are verified) to plan out the tournament.  Both tools can help you determine the best starting time for your tournament so it runs smoothly without excessive waits for players.
