Create Session
Note: When you finish a scheduled league, you will create a new session if you want to keep the same league type, format, etc... YOU DO NOT need to create a new league.
If you have already created a league and need to create another session, you can go to your profile in the top right corner of Pickleball.com:
You will then click the Leagues tab, click Manage, and find the league you are needing to add a session to:
When you click the league, you will then click "Manage League", then "Add New Session.

You will then click Add New Session and complete the session settings
1. When you want your league to show on the website, make session "Visible"
2. When you want your league to accept registrations, make session "LIVE"
Note: You may only have ONE session in a league LIVE at one time.
3. When you have completed your league session, you will click "Complete & Lock".
4. Click this button to make games in your session transfer to DUPR automatically.
Note: Players' profiles must be linked to DUPR. Games with SUBS will NOT transfer to DUPR.
5. Click Yes if you want to text your players reminders about opting in for game days.
Note: In order for text reminders to be sent to players, you must click the button in the game day settings:
6. Choose the location you will play matches. The location details are in your club settings.
7. Choose the session number. First session = 1, Second session = 2, etc...
8. Choose the skill and age level for the session.
Note: Skill Level is rounded down to the nearest 0.5 so if you only want 3.0-3.499 players, you must choose this setting:
9. Select the rating choices.
Note: If DUPR is the 1st Rating Choice, players' accounts MUST be linked to DUPR in order to register. If a player has NR as a DUPR rating, the software will look at your 2nd Rating choice to see if player qualifies for the league. A player's SELF rating is found in the player's profile.
10. Click Yes for Flex Play if you want players to organize their own schedule for matches.
Note: If you choose to do Flex Play, the software will create groups for matchups and send automatic emails to players. Once groups are created, you are unable to change the matches and game day settings.
11. Choose Signup / Payment Type
Note: Each Game Day - players will pay each game day when they opt in. At Session Signup - players will pay upfront for the entire session. PRO TIP: Get players to commit to the entire session by choosing At Session Signup.
12. Choose how many players can register for the session.
13. Choose if you will allow non-members to sign up. Cost can be different for members.
Note: The software verifies members vs. nonmembers by looking at your club's list of members on Pickleball.com. If you do NOT allow non-members, players will see this note on your league's home page:
14. Choose where new players start in the rankings.
15. Decide when you want league to show to public.
16. You can use a waiting list if you want more players registered than you have capacity for.
17. Use Online Reg if you want our software to handle players' registrations.
PRO TIP: If you use a waiting list, make sure you choose the Payment Type Each Game Day. You don't want players paying upfront for a league and not being able to play.
18. Choose the date and time you want CURRENT league players to register under the "Current players early signup". SKIP THIS SETTING IF THIS IS THE FIRST SESSION.
19. Choose the date and time you want NEW players to register under the "New player open spot signup.
20. Choose Age Limit Deadline. This applies if you have an age restriction.
Note: If you want players age 50 and above, players must be 50 or older by this date.
21. You may have the software display who gets to serve or choose end to start games.
22. You may have the software scramble round robin group matches if groups are remaining the same each game day.
23. Choose the session's Ranking Type.
Ranking Type Descriptions:
DUPR Rating
Players will be ranked solely based on DUPR ratings. If players have NR as a rating, the software will use the 2nd rating choice.
Players must be linked to DUPR in order to register.
Percentage of Points (POP)
Players will be ranked based on percentage of points won. If a player wins every game, the player won 100% of the points and will jump to the top of the rankings.
You may award "Game Day Difficulty Bonus Points" to make it more competitive. For example: Group 1 will include the highest ranked players, so you can add more points for winning higher level matches.
You may decide which columns to show on the rankings page.
If players opt in and do not show up for the game day, you may penalize the players.
If you want to penalize a player for missing one game day, make "Days Grace" 0.
You will subtract percentage points from the player's total.
You may limit the amount of movement a player can move up and down the ranks each week.
Up Down
Players will move up and down the rankings based on standings in their round robin groups.
You can choose to have 1 or 2 rounds of round robin groups.
You can choose to have 1 or 2 players to move up and 1 or 2 players to move down groups.
PRO TIP: Get the most variety of matches by choosing the setting of 2 rounds with 2 players moving.
If players opt in and do not show up for the game day, you may penalize the players.
If you want to penalize a player for missing one game day, make "Days Grace" 0.
You will move players down the ranks.

Custom
Players will move up and down the rankings based on points.
You will indicate the points awarded for different results:
You may award "Game Day Difficulty Bonus Points" to make it more competitive. For example: Group 1 will include the highest ranked players, so you can add more points for winning higher level matches.
24. Choose the Round Robin Group Sizes you prefer.
25. Find the Group Sizes you chose and select the Score Format.
Note: We highly recommend selecting score formats for additional groups sizes in case the software cannot create your first two choices. PRO TIP: If you have group sizes of 4 and 5 in the same game day, these groups can finish in about 1.5 hours if you choose the following score formats: Group of 4 - Double Round Robin, games to 11 win by 2 (each player plays 6 games) Group of 5 - Single Round Robin, games to 15 win by 1 (each player plays 4 games)
26. Click Save at the top of the page.
Note: Session settings can change during the session. Some settings must be changed BEFORE players opt in for the next game day in order for changes to take effect.
